Do you feel blue today? No not the sad feeling we all have sometimes but blue from being in The Blue Zones? National Geographic identified 5 places in the world for their high concentrations of individuals over 100 years old and clusters of people who have grown old without health problems like heart disease, obesity, cancer, or diabetes. They drew a blue circle around each of the areas on the world map. These 5 areas became known as the “Blue Zones.”

Feeling “Blue” is a good thing for healthy longevity-especially if you can feast on foods native to the Blue Zones. Join the cooking class at the Publix cooking school to make pasta from Sardinia, miso soup from Okinawa, and Haystacks-a favorite of Adventists all over the world. Foods from Greece and Costa Rica will also be prepared with a dessert. After learning how to prepare these recipes we feast!
