Happy October!

It’s our 3rd year creating Haven Magazine, and we want to thank our readers and advertisers for all of the support.  We can’t do this without you!  It’s been fun getting to know the area and meeting so many people.   With each month that we finish up and send to the printers, is another month that we are grateful to be here.  Grateful to call Florida our home, grateful for this community and grateful that we can begin to work on the next month’s issue.  Thank you for picking us up each month.

This month we talk about trees.  We discuss the benefits of planting more trees and what the local community is doing to try to accomplish that.  We also have a new guest writer, Adam Bass.  He is a nature photographer and conservationist and now a Haven contributor.  We visit the Wonder House in Bartow, and the Artcade in Winter Haven.  We go out to eat at Adler’s.  If you haven’t been out to their location in Davenport, it’s worth the drive.  Just go. Or wait until they set up in downtown Winter Haven later this month, either way, do yourself a favor and go.

Check out the last few pages of our magazine for the #kindachill section.  Tag us with that hashtag and you might find your own picture in the next issue.

Happy Halloween!
