HEIGHTS MORNING MARKET
9am - 1pm. Outdoor, morning market taking place every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month on 7th Ave, south of Armature Works. This event is free to attend, family-friendly, and features live music at each event. Some of the items you can expect to find are locally sourced and grown produce.
HEATHERS THE MUSICAL
Feb. 14 - March 3 at the Straz Center. A hilarious, heartfelt, and homicidal musical based on the 1988 cult film. It combines a moving love story with laugh-out-loud comedy and an unflinching look at the joys and anguish of high school.
BAY AREA RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL
Weekends Feb. 16 - March 31. Walk through a 16th century village featuring over 12 stages of minstrel, marionette, magic, court jester and dance shows as well as full armor jousting competitions, a live mermaid cove, arts and crafts, roaming musicians and traditional and modern day treats and savory eats.
Feb. 2, 10am - 5pm at Williams Park, 330 2nd Ave N, St. Petersburg. St. Pete’s largest “Community Celebration of All Things Local” showcasing over 200 of the city’s favorite independent businesses and community organizations.
ROCK THE PARK
Feb. 7, 6:30-9:45pm at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. A free monthly event for the entire family. This month: Will Quinlan & The Holy Slow Train, Thor Platter (Cleveland Americana) and Danny and Alex.
GROWN UP NIGHT 21+
Feb. 8, 5:30pm at Glazer Children’s Museum. Play like a kid again with parachutes, slinkies, hula hoops! Grown ups take over the Museum to climb, jump, and build in the exhibits. Free snacks and beer from Florida Avenue Brewing Co. until it’s gone and cash bar available! This event is 21 and up.
ST. PETE FRENCH FRY FEST
Feb. 15, 6pm at Straub Park, 400 Bayshore Dr NE. 30+ food trucks with special french fry offerings in addition to their regular choices. Live music, street performers and more.
THE FLORIDA ORCHESTRA - THE PLANETS
Feb. 15, 8pm at the Straz Center. The Planets align with NASA images on the big screen for the 100th anniversary of Holst’s sonic trip through the galaxy. Based in astrology, which enthralled Gustav Holst, each section is meant to capture the character of the planet.
HELLO KITTY CAFE TRUCK
Feb. 16. Coming to WestShore Plaza inside near H&M between 10am-8pm and pick up some supercute treats and merch, while supplies last.
CATTLE BARONS BALL
Feb. 23, 6pm at Armature Works. The American Cancer Society’s Cattle Baron’s Ball brings together cowboys and cowgirls for an evening of western-themed fun, and raises funds to help the Society finish the fight against cancer.
