Begin the year with gratitude.  Instead of making a list of everything you want to change about yourself, make a list of everything you have to be grateful for.  And then do it again the next day.  Starting your day with a moment of positive reflection will change your life.  Find a notebook and keep a journal of your gratitude so you can reflect on it during the hard times.
