What began in 1969 has grown every year, with the third generation of family members traveling to England every year to search for the most special pieces to sell in Polk County. The store is closed for the summer but will reopen in October with a fresh inventory.

I’m going to be honest with you. This win is bittersweet. I’m so happy that St. John’s has won again this year, they deserve it. But ... I’m not happy that more people will be showing up to my most favorite thrift shop in Polk County. This place is a real gem. It’s clean, it has amazing items, the volunteers are so nice, and the prices are great. I love it there. You will see me there. I’ll be the one smiling with my hands full of secondhand treasures.
