Congratulations to this 2026 James Beard Award Semifinalist! Of course they were voted Best Bakery, and I wholeheartedly agree! I often find myself just thinking about her sourdough. It is truly so good, the best bread around. I dream about it. And now that they’re open Tuesday through Saturday, we have more opportunities for more bread, cruffins, croissants, bostocks, and cinnamon rolls! Even better, stay and order a sandwich. My favorites are the sausage and hot honey breakfast biscuit, Benton’s bacon breakfast sandwich, and the chopped Italian sub. Oh, and don’t leave without a “take & bake” pot pie, either.
